Team Andrea Foundation is committed to supporting families as they brave their fight against breast cancer. Through charitable contributions from our community, we aim to gift a retreat to one impacted family annually. Team Andrea Foundation reserves the right to choose a recipient of a one-time retreat gift based on the following classifications:

 

• Applicants residing in Massachusetts.

• Applicants who have a diagnosis of breast cancer who are currently going through treatment for a breast cancer diagnosis or have undergone treatment for a breast cancer diagnosis in the past 12 months. Diagnosis to be verified by a signed and dated letter written on letterhead by a medical professional who is a member of the applicant’s treatment team verifying the applicant’s breast cancer diagnosis and treatment plan.

• Applicants who have child(ren) under the age of 18.

 

Applications for the 2021 retreat will be accepted March 19, 2021 through April 16, 2021. The one-time retreat gift will be awarded in the Spring where the recipient is invited to be present to accept. If the recipient is unable to attend, a family member or proxy may be present in their place.

Awardee to be determined by the Team Andrea Foundation at its sole discretion.  All applications must be submitted through our website at TeamAndreaFoundation.com. Applications received by mail, fax or email will not be accepted. Family members of directors and officers are not eligible for awards.  Applicants will be selected regardless of race, nationality, creed, sexual orientation, or age.

In addition to the one-time retreat gift, all applicants will be considered for other supportive experience donations throughout the year. The award of any of these smaller supportive and uplifting experience donations do not supersede the one-time retreat gift and all valid applicants will still be considered.

Upon acceptance of any gifts or awards, you are confirming that you understand that we will announce awardees on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, website, etc.). The announcement will include recipient’s name and may also include a photo(s).  By consenting, you confirm that you agree with the process outlined above.
